Exam Readers

examExam Readers are volunteers who serve as scribes or readers during winter and spring Final Exams for Middle School and Upper School students who request these accommodations.

Volunteering as an Exam Reader is one of the most rewarding ways to directly help students at The Winston School. No subject matter knowledge is needed, and volunteers can include parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles and even older siblings.

There are usually two sessions each day: 8:15am-10:15am and 10:30am-12:30pm.  Volunteers should plan to arrive at The Winston School a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the exam session and meet as a group in the LS/MS hallway before the exam to be matched up with students.
